At present, the mode of video surveillance storage is mainly divided into: local storage mode and network storage mode (NAS storage, IP SAN storage) two categories. Local storage mode: A storage mode where the embedded encoder is directly connected to the local disk storage (i.e., the storage server). Since the data in the storage system needs to be protected by RAID, the monitoring data in the system can be well protected and secured according to the commonly used RAID5+Hotpare or RAID6 array mode. At present, several megapixel high-definition network cameras on the market use CCD and CMOS sensors, support 1280×720, 1920×1080 high-definition full real-time encoding, which can achieve up to 5 times the D1 effect display, and the bit rate is adjustable between 1M-8Mbps.
